Another New Orleans image!  I figured I’d drop a shot at a time here, make the New Orleans prettiness last a bit longer.  This is a shot of St.Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square.  This was taken on a bit of a dreary day, I would love to go back on a nice day and look at the difference in the photographs.  Todd and I have talked about possibly blowing this image up and framing it for our living room….What do you guys think?

For those who haven’t been, St.Louis Cathedral is on Jackson Square, along with plenty of fantastic street artists and a psychic/palm reader/tarot card reader or two.

Here is another one of my faves from our New Orleans trip.  We were walking down the sidewalk one day and when I saw this door it made me smile so I had to take a picture of it of course!

I took plenty of personal pictures while on our trip to New Orleans in January, and this is one of em!  One of my favorite things about city living is that you can walk and bike pretty much anywhere you would need to go!  And in New Orleans you have another alternative – the trolley system!  I LOVE it and would love to live there!

Children are so fun to photograph!  At this age with a lot of them you get to let them play and follow them around, playing with them and making them laugh!  I had to snatch a few shots of their beloved pup Pokey while I was at it too!

Another Facebook Advantage!

Last month the American Meteorological Society held their big annual meeting in NEW ORLEANS!  I love New Orleans, it is only a couple of hours away from ye olde hometown and I was so excited to be there – oh and to use my new lightsphere to photograph an event!  I photographed the reception held by University of Alabama Huntsvilles Department of Atmospheric Science.  There were a lot of sciencey people doin a lot of sciencey talk!  I just really liked these images of the coffee from their reception hall so I thought I’d give you guys a little blog coffee!

I’ll tell you one thing – this little guy is 100% pure sweetness – with a side of mischief!  We were in New Orleans for a week recently and while we were there we visited with and photographed this little thumbsucker!  Here is a taste!
