That last set of bridals that I posted were shot on location in Lowe Mill in Huntsville, Alabama. As Todd (the hubs!) helped me set up before Ms.B arrived, he stood in as my model so I could get some test shots in! I thought he looked quite handsome.

Luckily, the husband and I like a lot of the same things; we are both into pop culture, keeping up with the same movies and tv shows, we both like hanging around the house. But the one thing that we both realllly love together is FOOD! I am aware that this sounds like some real fatty talk but we LOVE to eat and we get really excited about it! When we go on trips and vacations – one of the first things we do is plan on where and what we are going to eat.

So…when we cook at home it should be no surprise to you that I look at what was just made, think it looks magnificently beautiful, and MUST PHOTOGRAPH IT!

This one is a texas sweet onion casserole with rice, chipotle, and gruyere the hubs found on a blog called Homesick Texan.

I admit he made it – he does most of the cooking here and he is VERY good at it.

I love taking photographs…OBVIOUSLY – but I am HORRIBLE about taking pictures at my own events. If I am at a party or family function – I just wanna have fun and visit! So when I had a few friends over for a birthday bonfire – needless to say I took a few pics of the setup and as soon as they got here the camera was set down and not picked up for the rest of the night!

My actual birthday is not until the end of May – but my May is so packed that I had to celebrate it in April! The hubs got me a fire pit for my early birthday present so we went to town with some hot dogs, brats, and SMORES!!!

This past weekend I had the best time photographinga wedding on Cinco De Mayo! You know what that means? I finally get to share her bridals with you! For her bridals we went to Lowe Mill in Huntsville. The industrial space mixed with her beautiful gown mix well for some great portraits. Her session was somewhat styled with an antique vanity right in the middle of the mill for her to “get ready” in front of. We had a lot of fun with it! She ended up displaying some of her bridals at her wedding reception this weekend.

I am wondering to myself at this moment where they are for their honeymoon – the bride had no idea because the groom planned it and he wouldn’t tell!

Saturday I was supposed to have a fabulous bridal session with one of my brides! But the weather was icky so we decided to reschedule. The hubs and I were ready to go out since we were expecting to be setting up and shooting that day – so we decided to go on a date! What better to do on a rainy saturday than eat food that isnt good for you and go see a movie!

We decided to go see Hunger Games! I thought it was good! I haven’t read the books , and wasn’t sure about them. But, I have recently heard from non Twilight fans that they thought the books were fantastic (I obviously wasn’t a Twilight fan so much) so I think I will eventually give them a go. The premise sounded like something I would be into, and I did enjoy the movie so I’m not too worried about not liking them.

I want to share with you guys something I have been digging recently! These SedaFrance products are delightful! The beautiful packaging caught my eye, which is why I couldn’t resist photographing them! So I bought some soap and a small candle. It is so aggravating when you love a scent and just go for it and spend $30 on a candle and then when you get it home to burn, the scent doesn’t throw! So I tried out the small one first to make sure it does – and indeed it did! I will keep buying this brands soap and candles – and the scent that is my fave is Royal Incense. If you see it in a local boutique I suggest you give it a try! And NO SedaFrance is not asking me to write a review for them, I just thought I’d share what I’ve been diggin!
