The husbands Aunts came to town this weekend and stayed with us, so we thought it would be nice to wait for them to get here to put up the tree!  We put the tree up while listening to christmas tunes and baking cookies!  The Aunts decided that we needed some more filler ornaments and they were going to get us some – so of course we were happy to oblige!  We decorate in champagne golds and mercury glass, so we bought some small gold balls to add to the tree along with this beige textured tree skirt – very pretty additions to what we already had!  I think everyone adds a couple of decorating pieces every year am I right?

Here are some images from my cotton field couple (and their puppy)- as promised!  I am sooo pleased with these.  We started off with a few in their home – their first house!- and then moved on to the cotton field.  Soooo, here they are!

This shoot was sooo fun!  Probably because I was photographing a friend and fellow photographer.  As photographers we never take the time to have our own photographs taken – so she took some of my husband and I – then I took some of she and her husband!  AND in a place that I have always wanted to have a session in – a cotton field!!!!  They are turning out gorgeous.  I wanted to share this sneak taken in their living room with their precious puppy before we headed to the fields.

Just so ya know – it seems if you want to book a session in a cotton field you better shoot for early October because the week we did these pictures all of the cotton fields were being harvested!

Another post!  I’m on a roll guys.  Now if only I can keep it up.  These are some more taken back in July when we were in Gulf Shores for our family vacation.  Nothing better than an evening beach breeze in your hair and sand between your toes!  The B Family can tell ya that!

Take a look at this sweet pineapple upside down cake!  Guess who made it.  ME!!  And it was sooo yummy.  This is actually from my husbands birthday in July.  I am not an icing person so I was more than pleased when the husband requested I make this cake for him.  I was just stumbling through some of my personal pictures and thought I’d share this one with you guys!

I am so far behind on blogging!  This summer I did some portraits of  this little cutie whose nickname is “Bing Bing”.  I did these portraits in about fifteen minutes while on my family vacation in Gulf Shores.  That is how long I got before Bing Bing had a total meltdown, but sometimes that is all you need!  She loved looking at pictures of herself on my camera screen – the little ham!

Cutest sassy baby expressions!

Striking a pose all on her own!

Living Doll no?

Do you guys hear that?  I think its…..Sleigh Bells?!  Wait, you don’t hear it?  Well, I guess we do have a few months!  But it IS time to book your Holiday Portrait Session!  We want to be sure that you have your holiday cards in time to mail out – so we are only doing these sessions September through November.  We are already booking, so contact us before we are full up!
