It’s almost here – Mother’s Day and Father’s Day will be here before you know it!  What better gift than updated portraits of the kids – or even the family!  It is something that parents always want, but rarely make time to get done.  Well – now is your chance!  I am going to be offering limited edition mini sessions for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.  Book early and have mom or dads prints, book, canvas, or accordion album ready to open – or give them a gift voucher so they can be in the pictures too!

This past weekend my mother-in-law and sister-in-law came to town and stayed with us.  Perfect time to do family portraits!  Spring is just starting and the weather was gorgeous (not to mention mothers day will be here soon =)).  We just took a stroll around downtown Athens where there are plenty of colors and nice textures to serve as an interesting backdrop, and if you’re from Athens you’ll love your hometown portraits all the more!

I thought I’d share a few random shots from my day today!

This is the book I’ve been reading – I should finish it up tomorrow.  We love to watch his show – No Reservations.  I found the first half of his book to be really interesting and the second half eh.

I’m kind of amazed at how many bananas we buy a week for two people.

My little boy – Klaus – playing with his best friend Kong.  Check out those Velociraptor claws.

Here is the second one I have been working on.  Save the Dates are a great way to announce your wedding date!  Let everyone know when the wedding will be in plenty of time for them to make arrangements to be there.  This one is square and has a front and back design.

These things are customizable and certain things can be changed – like the color of the font and tape on this one.  Please leave me honest feedback!

I’m working on some new cards!  Here is the first.  A birth announcement we’ll call Dexter Lou.

Any Feedback?  Do you like?

I know my February self portrait is a little late – but hey, its here!  I started beginners tap dancing lessons this month.  And I’m loving every minute of it!  I may not be that good at it – but I’m still having fun.  It’s something I always wanted to try but didn’t get out there and do.  I’m constantly thinking to myself that I better do what I want now because you are only young once – and I’m finally taking some action.  Here are my feet in my fabulous new tap shoes.
