Ladies – this one is for the books! This slightly styled shoot goes to show you that you don’t have to have a poufy white dress and pristine pearls to be a totally fabulous bride. Wear what YOU want! I love to see girls with a little edge! We were planning to go downtown, but alas, the skies opened up and rained all over our parade. But we had just as good of a time indoors – enjoying a local antique shop! Can’t stop us!

September 24, 2010When the weblog majorly malfunctioned last month – I lost all of my posts from the last couple of years. I promised you guys I would back track and repost some of the oldies that I lost. So, since I’ve started christmas present shopping and I’m so ready for the cold weather…I thought I’d recap December ’09!
It snowed.
We decorated our tree with all gold ornaments.
Klaus was punished for rooting in Mamas hair diddy drawer.
I baked some cookies (and other stuff).
Didn’t bake this – but made it in the microwave! Hot chocolate coffee mug microwave brownie cake thing.
I was excited to deff to drink some eggnog coffee.
Christmas cards
Klaus had fun visiting with the fam down home. Especially sis-in-law.
My mom gave me the “are you taking a picture of me” eye.
Granny and Grandaddy opened some presents.
I took newborn portraits of this little guy.

September 7, 2010I was going through my pictures from Christmas last year and thought it would be appropriate to post these.
Pictures from our Christmas Eve feast at the In- Laws! Hubby made the broccoli salad. They were my faves for today because I’ve been thinking about holiday food a lot lately. We aren’t going to be able to go home for Thanksgiving this year, but we are hosting Thanksgiving dinner for my sister in law, hubbys sister. She just started her first semester of college a couple of hours away at Alabama so shes going to come up here! One thing we LOVE about holidays at home is cooking all the good food and picking out the menu ourselves! Can’t wait to make that home made cranberry sauce!
