Little Acorns

August 28, 2010

When we book a wedding – we prefer to go to the weddings rehearsal.  It helps us to be as prepared as possible on the day of.  We’re shooting a wedding tomorrow and went to the rehearsal yesterday where I saw something that made me excited.

Two little acorns.  Two little acorns that make me remember that FALL IS COMING!  My favorite season of the year.  Please hurry I’m ready to wear some sweaters and drink hot chocolate and smell the air and halloween.

A Tale Of Two Staplers.

August 26, 2010

We spend a lot of time at our side by side desks here at Jacquelyn Jackson Photography.  Getting postcards ready, updating client info, editing pictures.  You know.  The usual.  Our staplers guard the division line of our work spaces.

You guys may get sick of pictures of Klaus – BUT I WON’T!

First.

We did our first wedding expo this past weekend.  And.  It was fun!  We were able to meet a bunch of awesome people and proudly display our work.  Here are some pictures of our booth I hurriedly and carelessly snapped just before the doors were opened.

Those of you who were involved in our chicken wire, chain link, or sheet metal poll can see that we chose chicken wire.  We decided we love the chicken wire but want to construct a permanent fixture that we can store and use in all of our upcoming expos.

Our totally awesomesauce pricing guide/info magazine style books.

Vintage coke crate, empty soda bottles, fiji mums, and carnations.  I think my little arrangement fit perfectly in with our vintage modern style!

Floating JJP images.

Our metal JJP sign!  And sample canvas.

Our modern chairs were a hit with the Anthony, who puts this expo together.

Technical Difficulties

August 18, 2010

Well guys, we changed our hosting provider.  Which is good for the site.  But not so good for the blog.  We had to lose all of our blog posts.  Which really sucks.  I might repost some old gems eventually.  For now I guess this is a fresh start.

I’ll leave you all with this image of our pup – Klaus – feverishly drinking from the waterhose.
